The final assessment consists of a written and oral exam on the entire syllabus.
The written exam involves the translation of a piece analyzed in class along with some open-ended questions on issues of morphology and syntax. The oral test, which will be supported by those who have achieved a score of at least 18/30 in the written test, consists of an interview on course-related topics and metric reading of a text. The tests aim to value the knowledge of the contents and bibliography provided for by the course, the quality of the written and oral expression, the critical and methodological skills and the achievement of the intended objectives will be evaluated. The score ranges from 1 to 30 with honors, according to the following: <18 = seriously lacking knowledge; 18-21: essential knowledge; 22-24: documented knowledge; 25-27 extensive knowledge; 28-30: in-depth knowledge; 30 with honors: in-depth knowledge, supported by critical re-elaboration.
