This course aims at providing the student with a vision of the molecular mechanisms underlying development and progression of gynecological cancer. Specific emphasis will be given on the scientific approaches at the basis of the latest discoveries in this field, through in-depth, dedicated analysis of key research papers published on the most important international journals.
Various parallelisms will be proposed, between the molecular mechanisms underlying the physiological functions of the organism and of the developing embryo during the gestation, and the mechanisms regulating cancer progression.
