GENERAL AND SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
The general educational objective of the course is to provide theoretical
and practical knowledge of occupational therappy in the choice of aids.
The aim is to provide a basic knowledge of technologies and aids for
rehabilitation, indipendence, school, work and social integration of people
with disabilities in relation to the role of the OT in the prescribing process.
At the end of the course, the student will achieve the following specific
objectives:
- Knowledge of aids and technologies present in the rehabilitation land
scape and classifications;
- Knowledge of the prescription path, and of the reference legislation;
- Acquisition of knowledge and skills needed to evaluate aids and/or
technologies
- Develop knowledge and skills about the personalization of aids and/or technologies
