In line with the educational objectives of the Philosophy and Educational Sciences Course, the teaching contributes to providing the conceptual, methodological and historical tools for basic philosophical training in both historical and thematic-problematic terms. The course provides the tools to understand, analyze and contextualize complex texts, to deal with open ethical issues and problems (in the fields of medicine, economics, the environment.), With the aim of evaluating solutions, managing complexity situations, consolidating the critical-argumentative capacity. Furthermore, the applicative dimension of teaching allows the student to acquire the skills of creativity and ideation, which are essential for dealing with new cultural scenarios. At the end of the course, therefore, the student will have acquired (1) the fundamental knowledge relating to the contemporary ethical debate and the ethical dilemmas that arise when faced with the practical application of abstract theories and principles to different areas, in particular the environmental one ( 2) will develop skills in textual practice, in conceptual and terminological deepening, in argumentation, in the ability to apply knowledge of moral philosophy for the resolution of unpublished problems (3) will develop the necessary skills, in terms of autonomy of judgment and communication skills, which will allow him to orient himself, in a conscious and critical way, in the context of the various "applied ethics" (nature and environment, bioethics and medicine, information and communication, economics and work, multiculturalism, etc.).
