Objectives
Contents - Acquisition of the fundamental vocabulary for expressing oneself in everyday life situations relating to the main thematic areas
- Knowledge and active use of the main morphosyntactic structures of the German language
- Structure of the main and secondary sentence (for example: causal, conditional, indirect interrogative, relative, infinitive, final).
- Declination of nouns and articles, possessive adjectives and pronouns, personal pronouns, adjectives.
- Conjugation of the main regular and irregular verbs (tenses: Präsens, Perfekt, Präteritum, Imperative, würde + Inf., Passive form).
- Main prepositions with dative and accusative.
- Elements of civilization of the German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
Extended Syllabus Acquisition and development of receptive communication skills (listening and reading) and productive (speaking and writing) through both guided and autonomous activities, related to relevant situations of daily experience.
The achievement of these objectives presupposes:
- Acquisition of the fundamental vocabulary for expressing oneself in everyday life situations related to the main thematic areas
- Knowledge and active use of the main morphosyntactic structures of the German language
- Structure of the main and secondary sentence (for example: causal, conditional, indirect interrogative, relative, infinitive, final).
- Declination of nouns and articles, possessive adjectives and pronouns, personal pronouns, adjectives.
- Conjugation of the main regular and irregular verbs (tenses: Präsens, Perfekt, Präteritum, Imperative, würde + Inf., Passive form).
- Main prepositions with dative and accusative.
Preference will be given to types of texts and lexical areas relevant to humanistic area students.

Teaching Methods Lessons and exercizes
The teaching is divided into 48 hours of frontal teaching which foresee a strong interactive component between teacher and student.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Oral examination 20 minutes
The final exam is an interview and a check on the program carried out, based on readings, phonetics, exercises, words. Prepare a personal presentation (written and oral) explaining topics covered in the course.
