Methods of Provision
Teaching Methods The course is held in the second term and includes 36 hours of lessons divided into 3 lessons per week. The lectures will mainly focus on the use of the following teaching methods: lectures, discussion of case studies, project works. Attendance is strongly recommended.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Students attending the course will be assessed through a project work (60%) and a subsequent oral exam (40%). These methods aim to assess both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills (Dublin Descriptors 1 and 2) as well as interdisciplinary communicative abilities and critical analysis of performance management concepts and tools. The oral examination will cover lecture materials and selected chapters from the recommended textbook.
Non-attending students will be evaluated through an oral exam based on the comprehensive study of the recommended textbook, J. Birkinshaw's "Reinventing Management," published by Franco Angeli (latest edition).
