Students must possess knowledge of the basic theoretical principles relating to socio-pedagogical knowledge.
Objectives
Contents The course intends to describe and problematize the relationship between pedagogy and society, answering questions such as: Do educational changes and knowledge building depend on society? How can pedagogy impact quality of life, peace, and emancipation of individuals by creating spaces for care, life-long, life-wide, life-deep learning and reflection?
The themes of social pedagogy will be addressed with particular attention to community action, the pedagogy of care, health, emergency, deviance, and safety, with a look at the educational systems of the future in the perspective of global citizenship education.
