Objectives
Contents The course aims to provide students with a basic knowledge of Freud's and other main psychoanalysts' thinking, with specific attention to the contribution of Ferenczi, Jung, A. Freud, Klein, Winnicott, Bion, Kohut and others. It will then refer to the birth of psychoanalysis in Italy and its subsequent developments in other countries. In particular, the main theoretical-clinical models of psychoanalysis, as well as some key concepts concerning psychic dynamics and the psychotherapeutic setting, will be explored.
