Contents The course presents the research field of developmental psychology, the main theoretical and methodological aspects, the dimensions of development (cognitive, social, emotional, etc.) in relation to the main stages and to the typical and atypical development, the social contexts of development (family, peers, school) and the role of culture.

Teaching Methods The course consists of 64 hours of lectures, discussion on issues of particular relevance, case studies and group activities.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Written exam, with closed and open questions of different formats, divided into three parts: a) explaining scientific phenomena; b) evaluate and design scientific investigations, c) interpret data and tests in a scientific way. The score for each part ranges from 0 to 10.
