Project theme: Temporary public structures for a shelter of light boats along the Pescara river, in connection with the "Casa dello Sport" project, addressed in the Architectural Design 3 Course. The exercise, in particular, focuses on the design of a small receptive pavilion for the organization of sport on the river.
The course consists of a design verification that takes as a broader background theme, the redevelopment of the disused river landscape in compliance with the hydrogeological and environmental constraints. The context is one of the areas set aside for the periodic flooding of the river, and is characterized by riparian native vegetation.
The course, which lasts one week in intensive mode (workshop), introduces the 3rd year student to the development of a project that requires the alternation of the passage of scale from the understanding / interpretation of the landscape to architectural detail. The student will have to attend the lessons every day and carry out the exercise requested by the teacher directly in the classroom, with the obligation of attendance.
The work will be viewed by the teacher during its execution itself.
On the last day an exhibition will be held of the works produced. The final vote includes the assessments given at the end of the Architectural Composition Laboratory 3, in the first semester.
