Neurodevelopmental disorders comprise a group of conditions with onset in the developmental period and characterized by deficits that cause a compression of personal, social, school or work functioning. The range of deficits varies from very specific learning limitations to the overall impairment of social skills and intelligence.
The course aims to tackle the most complex neurodevelopmental disorders such as Intellectual Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Attention Deficit Disorder with hyperactivity, from the point of view of the clinical-diagnostic framework, of the habilitation intervention and of the school inclusion.
