Contents Genesis, content and purpose of Spinoza's Ethics
Extended Syllabus The course aims to offer students a historical-critical cut of Spinoza's Ethics, whose parts are moments of a single discourse whose central theme is the liberation from all forms of prejudice and oppression in view of happiness. In the nexus between ontology, ethics and politics, Spinoza's ideas emerge in all their disruptive radicality.

The dialogue during the examination will be aimed at assessing the historical, theoretical and analytical and synthetic skills of the student, as well as his ability to analyze philosophical texts.
