Objectives
Contents The course of Behavioral Finance is divided into three main parts:
(1) analysis of the behavioral approach to choices under risk;
(2) application of the behavioral approach to portfolio choices
(3) application of the behavioral approach to financial markets.
Extended Syllabus Part one
Deep dive into individual choices under risk and introduction to behavioral bias. Expected utility theory, prospect theory, loss aversion, ambiguity aversion.
Part two
Analysis of portfolio allocation. Efficient diversification, behavioral approach to portfolio allocation.
Part three
Equilibrium on financial markets. Traditional price dynamics and consequences of behavioral bias on market final outcomes and welfare.
