Contents Social ethics and professional ethics
The course intends to offer an overview of the most current issues of social ethics, with particular regard to those concerning problems of professional ethics.
To this end, we will initially proceed with the analysis of the complex ethical-social relationships that are the basis of the profession of the Social Worker, to try to understand them in the light of a philosophical reflection, with reference to specific currents of moral thought. Inserted in this context will be the clarification of the meaning and importance of the Professional Code of Ethics for Social Workers.

Methods of Provision
Teaching Methods The prevailing method will be that of the frontal lesson. It will be accompanied, according to didactic needs, by the shared reading of texts and group work, seminars.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
The assessment of the training objectives and expected learning outcomes is entrusted to an oral interview of variable duration. During the interview, the actual acquisition of the knowledge, skills and competences indicated will be assessed. The evaluation parameters include the ability to organize
knowledge in a discursive way, the ability to critically reason on the study carried out, the quality of presentation, competence, effectiveness and linearity in the use of the specialist vocabulary.
The test is divided into questions regarding ethics and social history in its various meanings with particular regard to the justice theme and the problem of common goods.
The evaluation is expressed out of thirty. The minimum grade with which the exam is considered passed is eighteen (18).

Contacts/More Information Attendance of the course is desirable, but not mandatory.
Those who fail to attend at least two thirds (2/3) of the total number of lessons will integrate the exam program with an additional text, which will be indicated during the lessons, and which will allow them to deal more effectively with individual study. .
During the examination it is advisable to present oneself with the texts adopted, in order to be able to analyze and comment on them.
