Contents Writing and communication today
Extended Syllabus Within the course, starting from the study of the volumes of Cignetti-Fornara and Serianni, the following topics will be addressed: understanding the complexity of the writing processes; identify and solve writing problems; ortography: mistakes, lapsus and "social censorship"; the most common ortography mistakes; present and future of the ortography norm; punctuation. The notion of text; cohesion and textual consistency. Students will meet journalists and professors.

Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
At the end of the laboratory course there will be a written verification test. Students will be assessed as competent (with no marks given) if they pass. Both attending and non-attending students must take this exam. The test will consist of a written test of five open-ended questions. The content of the questions will focus on the topics of the two reference manuals.
