The Degree Course in Economics, Markets and Development stems from the need to satisfy a demand for skills coming from the market of real services responsible for programming economic development, with reference to financial services which support different activities such as investments, production and consumption. The training application covers a wide range of active roles in economic decision-making, evaluation and planning processes, in contexts of markets and in contexts of both public and private institutions related to them. This training request is characterized by the basic need to know the functioning of markets in their dynamics of growth and development, as well as the role of economic policy in relation to their promotion. The result is a need to learn the methodological tools necessary for the quantitative analysis of economic phenomena, with reference both to the problem of measurement and to the issue of forecasting to be used as support for the decisions of operators in the real and financial sectors, especially in the guidelines aiming at growth and development prospects. The demand for training for the real sector comes in particular from businesses, agencies, institutions and free professional activities that decide or support development programs; the demand for the financial sector comes from banking and non-banking intermediaries, including insurance companies, leasing companies, investment funds, hedge funds and numerous institutional investors (such as pension funds). Their role is of fundamental importance for every process of economic growth and development in an increasingly complex and globalized world.Course reference , Faculty members and tutors:• DEL SIGNORE Antonella • IANNONE BARBARA • COLANTONIO EMILIANO • RIDOLFI NATASCIA
