Objectives
Contents During the course will be examined, from a theoretical and methodological perspective, applicative topics of sociological research, particularly about the health and disease issues, both from a historical-evolutionary perspective and from that of models and interventions in the field of welfare and people's protection.

Teaching Methods Lectures, seminars with the participation of experts and professionals, eventual use of slides and other scientific and bibliographic materials made available by the teacher during the lessons. Students may develop, in the course of lessons and for the purposes of both ongoing and final evaluation, a descriptive report on a subject in line with the teaching of Economic and Social Policy, previously agreed with the Professor.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Verification: Oral exam, carried out through questions concerning the didactic program performed by the Teacher and the topics of the texts foreseen and dealt with during the lectures.
Evaluation: votes expressed in thirtieths.
The teacher reserves the right to use the written test as appropriate, when appropriate or necessary. This written test does not replace the final oral exam, but is a part of it, functional to the overall management aspects of the exam. The results of the written test, expressed in thirtieths, will average with those in thirtieths achieved by the student in the final oral exam.
