Objectives
Contents Introduction to clinical psychology and application areas. Feeding and eating disorders: etiology, diagnostic criteria, main intervention, and treatments. Individual factors, risk factors, psychological aspects, psychological distress and feeding and eating disorder. Obesity, psychological aspects, and treatment.
Extended Syllabus Theoretical models of reference. Feeding and eating disorders. The interview and psychodiagnostics tools. Psychological aspects, individual and personality factors, and defense processes. Psychopathological semeiotics of eating behavior disorders. Outline of psychotherapy.

Teaching Methods The course is scheduled in 10 hours of in-class teaching
Course attendance is mandatory in all the classes to be allowed to sit the exam. The minimum attendance required for a student in a course is 70% of the total hours.
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
The exam will be constituted by an oral examination aimed to assess the knowledge and the ability in applying the concepts acquired. Each professor assigns a grade between 0 and 30 for his module. To pass the exam a minimum grade of 18 is required in each module. The final grading is calculated as the weighted average of the grading of each module, the weight being the corresponding number of credits.
