Objectives
Contents The program provides for the analysis of the following points:
• Physical and political geography of the Russian Federation
• History and culture of Russian-speaking countries of the Soviet period and of contemporary Russia.
• Uses, customs, traditions, language of Russia
• The political-administrative structure of the Russian Federation, institutions and the separation of powers.
• Political, economic and cultural relations between Italy and Russia
Extended Syllabus The program includes the following topics:
1. The geographical location and short history of Russia.
2. 70 years of Soviet culture.
3. Post-Soviet Russia.
4. Intercultural communication between Russians and Italians.
5. Population. The Russian national character.
6. Political system of the Russian Federation.
7. Legislative, executive and judicial powers.
8. The linguistic policy of the RF.
The 9-credit program includes the additional topics.
