Objectives
Contents Notions of history, institutions and socio-cultural issues related to Spain and some of the Spanish-speaking countries. Particular attention will be paid to political institutions, as well as to the linguistic and cultural aspects that characterize the contemporary reality of the nations considered.
Extended Syllabus Module 1: Elementos de Historia y Cultura de España- The module aims to provide students with the fundamental elements of Spanish culture from the 16th century to the present day.
Module 2:
Cultura e Instituciones de los países de lengua española - The module aims to bring the student closer to the current reality of Chile and Argentina, through the analysis of some aspects through which these countries have built their identity over the centuries, and then dedicate space to specific cultural aspects of each area.
The teacher will provide some critical readings during the lessons.

Teaching Methods
Evaluation methods Verification of learning:
Final oral test, aimed at ascertaining the student's knowledge of the topics covered, the clarity of the student's presentation, as well as the ability to give a critical reading of the topics covered. The test will be held in Spanish and the unit of measurement used for the evaluation will be the score in thirtieth.
