The course aims to analyze the main theoretical contributions of the sociology of deviance and sociological-based criminology (theories of anomie, differential association, labeling, ecological and integrated approaches). Particular attention will be paid to the study of the relationship between the sociology of deviance and the critical approach in criminology, as well as the deepening of the different methods of empirical research.
