Extended Syllabus Areas and aspects of teaching and learning Italian as a Second Language. Bilingualism and multilingualism. Use of authentic mass-media materials for the teaching of Italian L2 in schools of all levels. Minority languages in Italy of ancient and new settlement, with particular regard to the Albanian, Arabic, Chinese and Romanés. Intercultural language teaching and mediation for Italian as a Second Language.
