Knowledge of the basic communicative functions of the French language.
Objectives
Contents Reading, listening, speaking and writing activities aimed at expanding linguistic, extra-linguistic, socio-cultural aspects of the French language. During the training course different types of text will be analyzed, starting point for exercises in reading and translation, lexical and grammatical reflections.
Extended Syllabus The program will focus on the revision and consolidation of the main linguistic, morpho-syntactic and textual structures useful for the acquisition of the communicative objectives in line with the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Teaching Methods Teaching methods
Communicative approach (lessons, practical exercises).The laboratory lessons will see the alternation of frontal explanation and of practical exercise, dynamic interaction, reading and conversation. The use of textbooks in classroom is essential as well as audio and video technologies (multimedia support). Students are strongly recommended to bring always their course textbooks.

Ongoing tests during the course for attending students, for others: oral exam.
The exam is oral and will aim to test and evaluate:
1. Language skills on the receptive side: reading, comprehension and translation of one of the texts proposed during the course.
2. Linguistic skills on the productive side: oral interaction and oral production aimed at the synthesis and / or criticism of a theme proposed during the course.
