The educational objectives of Philosophy of Economics are strictly related to the philosophical and theoretical approach of the disciplinary field which characterises the module. The students will know the epistemological problems related to the current link between philosophical knowledge and economic issues. Therefore, critical reasoning must identify the weak points of current economic activity for whom it is necessary the philosophical contribution on the methodological matters. This kind of scenario requires cooperation between the practical activity of economics and the theoretical knowledge of philosophy. The course aims to analyse the "economic matter" and rethink today's social life. The purpose is to reconsider the bond between work, public areas and people. The students will be able to: grasp the key questions of the matter, increase their knowledge in this area, and acquire the skills applied in a socio-economic or in an economic business context. Furthermore, the students will develop abilities relate to argumentation, problem- solving and business planning
Power, Freedom, Government: between conflict and homogenisation. An economic and philosophical reinterpretation of the modern world
The course will deal with different issues and will analyse the definitions of Pier paolo Pasolini about the modern world. For example, homogenisation, false tolerance, and power without face describe very well the power of the cultural and anthropological situation in which economic life must be realized. It is interesting to think again about the concept and the application of power. This philosophical exercise is necessary to handle the challenging economic life of Today. The matter of homogenization connected to the economic field will be examined in relation to the new context of war.

The course will essentially be based on the lectures. The activities will include the books' analysis, critical dialogue and seminars.
1)The learning assessment consists of an oral test. The exam is structured as a dialectic dialogue and it aims to check: the knowledge of the students about questions of the course, their comprehension and their personal reworking of the books, their ability to argue the contents during the term, their reflection on the experience of the entire term (lectures, personal study, workshop, critical dialogue). 2)The grades are given on the basis of 30 points.
1) At the beginning of the course, the students will need to have their books to attend and participate in the debate in class. 2) The students have the opportunity to attend seminars with experimantal activities
