Learning objectives: The course is divided into two parts. The first part will provide an introductory knowledge of School Psychology: reference frameworks, evaluation processes, improvement processes. The second part has a twofold objective. First, to provide knowledge of the changes taking place in the school with the widespread diffusion of digital technologies and the role of the school psychologist in promoting digital skills and well-being at various levels (student, teacher, school). Secondly, to acquire operational skills in the construction of improvement projects in the school environment, with particular reference to three areas: a) digital skills and digital well-being of students; b) digital skills and digital well-being of teachers; c) technostress, digital school and school climate.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course, the student must:
o know the fundamentals of school psychology
o Know the changes taking place in the school with the spread of new digital technologies and the regulatory documents (Italian and European) in this regard
o know the principles for building improvement projects in the school environment
Autonomy of judgment
At the end of the course, the student must know how:
o Reflect on the contribution of the school psychologist to address a variety of issues that arise in the school setting
o Reflect on the contribution that the school psychologist can make to the innovation of the school organizational model
o Reflect on the characteristics of an effective improvement project in the school environment
Communication skills
At the end of the course, the student must know how:
o Present and discuss the choices made in preparing an improvement project in the school environment
