The Master of Studies in Psychology aims at the training of a graduate/ a possess advanced cognitive, methodological and operational tools in the macro-areas of cognitive psychology and neuropsychology, developmental psychology, social psychology, of work and organisations. It is therefore divided into three curricula called 'Cognitive Neuroscience', 'Developmental Psychology' and 'Social Psychology, Work and Organizations', who share a strong theoretical imprint based on the knowledge of the authors and the classical theories of psychology, in agreement with recent approaches, and a vision of psychological functioning and human behavior as complex phenomena of a systemic nature, dynamic and multidimensional. The training course integrates theoretical knowledge with application methodologies and practical tools aimed at psychological and psychometric investigation, computer procedures for the analysis of research data, the design and evaluation of specialist interventions directed at the person, groups, communities, work and organizational contexts. These skills are developed with educational activities that use active and interactive methodologies and that take place with lectures, seminars, workshops and guided practical experiences.The training course is completed with courses in the biomedical and humanistic areas, specific for the contents of the reference curriculum, which aim to promote the knowledge of/of students/students in areas related to psychological training and allow to customize the objectives of vocational training. In order to bring students closer to the places of interest for psychological intervention, in the curricular areas described above, a study-work alternation experience is offered (Internship, 4CFU for all curricula) in productive and third sector companies, agreements, which offer diagnostic, rehabilitation and assistance services to people (adults and children), families and groups, even in disadvantaged conditions.In addition, English language skills are enhanced (level B2).
