Educational Objectives: The educational objectives of the annual course are the development and expansion of specific skills in accordance with the specific needs of the course of studies L11. In particular, these are written and oral production skills in various sectoral contexts. Students learn how to deal with topics from several fields: literature, current politics and economics, pedagogy and tourism. From a linguistic point of view, the course aims to provide the necessary tools to reach level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: the students can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract subjects, including technical discussions on its own field of specialization. Learners will be able to interact with a certain fluency and spontaneity that will make possible a natural interaction with native speakers without any effort for the interlocutor. They will be able to produce clear and detailed texts on a wide range of topics and explain a point of view on a topic by providing the pros and cons of the various options.
