This course is the second part of a three-year curriculum in German language.
It provides students with the critical awareness of German, intended as a social, cultural and historical phenomenon.
At the end of the course the students should master following topics: pronunciation of German; word formation; flexive morhology; Felderanalyse; main features of German semantics and pragmatics.
They should be able to describe the analyzed phenomena with coherent language choices.
Students will be enabled to use the German language in a culturally appropriate manner in everyday situations in a German-speaking environment according to Level B1+ of CEFR: they can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics; they can interact with native speakers with a certain degree of fluency and spontaneity; they can produce clear texts on a wide range of subjects of personal interest and give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
