The course consists of two parts that will run in parallel. In the first, theoretical part, the fundamentals of text linguistics will be presented and the main theoretical tools for analysing texts will be provided, with particular reference to written texts. In the second part of the course, which is applicative in nature and involves the active participation of students, the focus will be on the linguistic analysis of academic texts, especially in Italian, and students will be required to produce academic texts independently, which will be part of the final exam.
